A steam generator is a different machine from an iron: the boiler sits on the floor and pushes steam at pressure, so the creases come out of a thobe or a bedsheet on one pass. 7.6 bar, 155 g/min continuously and a 580 g/min burst for the stubborn ones. No temperature dial — the combination is fixed and Tefal rates it safe for every fabric, which is what stops somebody melting a synthetic. The removable calc collector is the part that keeps it working in Gulf water; Tefal claims it takes up ten times more scale than competitors'. Made in France, 1.2 L tank, vertical steaming for hanging garments, repairable for fifteen years. One thing for the order sheet: this page's own product name says GV9710E0 while its model number field says GV9710M0, and M0 is the Type G build — order against GV9710M0 and the barcode.
