A steam generator rather than an iron: the water sits in a 1.8 L base and is forced through the soleplate at 6.6 bar, which is what flattens a linen shirt in one pass instead of four. 130 g/min of continuous steam with a 450 g/min boost for a stubborn crease, ready in two minutes from cold. The tank comes out to fill under a tap and the Durilium Airglide Autoclean soleplate carries Tefal's top glide and scratch ratings. For a household that irons for a family — or a laundry that irons all day — this is the machine that halves the time.
