The sealing ring is the one part of a pressure cooker that is designed to be replaced, and the one most owners never replace: silicone hardens, the cooker stops holding pressure, and the customer decides the pot is finished when it needs a ring. Tefal's own guidance is to change it roughly every couple of years. This is the 4.5 and 6 litre size. Gaskets are sized by diameter and are not interchangeable, so order by the litres marked on the pan and by this part number.
