A bridge camera with a 40x optical zoom covering 24 to 1008 mm equivalent — a range no phone reaches — over a 20 MP 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, with optical image stabilisation to make the long end usable. A 3-inch 460k-dot screen, 720p video, a pop-up flash, a 180-degree panorama mode and face, smile, blink and pet detection. Note that the retailer's own page address says 42x zoom while the listing title and the specification sheet both say 40x, and that the title says 20 MP while the specification sheet says 21; the pairs that agree were followed.
